Beach Boys Tribute Band

saw my friends’ Beach Boys tribute band last night- SURFIN SAFARI- they were really really really great- it was a free show for all ages at the Dad’s club in Glendale- this was the brainchild of drummer Mike Sarafian, who is also a “Ringo” in the Beatles tribute world- we’ve done many gigs together in various Beatles bands.   http://alanbernhoft.com/AsJohnLennon.html Three of the four other members are also Beatles tribute guys who I’ve worked with through the years- Dan, Rick, Benny and Chris blended like heaven- all the sounds, musically and vocally were just right on. They’re going to do very very well with this cast- I’m damn proud of my friends, PLUS my wife and kids had a ball on the dance floor.
