John Lennon Book Release Celebration/Gig

…FROM JOHN BORACK…Join us as we celebrate the release of my second book, “John Lennon: Life is What Happens,” (and also celebrate what would have been John Lennon’s 70th birthday on October 9) with a night of fun, friends and music.

There will be copies of the book available for purchase, snacks, and of course, live music. Walter Clevenger and the Dairy Kings will kick things off promptly at 9:00pm, followed by the Popdudes at 10:00pm. The focus… will be on the music of John Lennon and the Beatles.

Fronting the Popdudes for this special show will be LA-area musician Alan Bernhoft. Alan is John Lennon in the Beatles tribute band Imagine and also has released his own Beatlesque gems which you can check out here: http://www.myspace.com/beatlesque1
